These rings were 'invented' in the 19th century, featuring an elaborated gallery (to either side of the head) carved with scrolls and foliate embellishment. They've been made and engraved by hand in Hatton Garden for well over 150 years, this one dating from 1970s, the technique passed down generations of jewellers mostly unchanged. It's crafted in 18ct
