It has mid green elliptical to lance shaped deciduous leaves, but it really comes into it's own in autumn when the leaves turn spectacular shades of vibrant red before dropping. In midsummer insignificant flowers appear, but they are followed by georgeous pink orange winged fruit, which last long after the leaves have dropped to create real
