This mighty civilisation rose and fell with epic pace: it was wiped out almost overnight and then slowly rediscovered over several hundred years. It is the stuff of sensational history, and therefore weaving elements of drama and performance into the teaching of the topic is, in many ways, a natural thing to do. This scheme of work introduces the Aztecs, and provides an overview of their history and culture.
