In the background hints of spices (cinnamon), herbs and dark forest berries. The whole thing is carried by maltiness. Creamy vanilla notes in the mouth with a hint of woody bitterness (almonds, malt). It's a whiskey that you can drink well at parties light to medium and pretty sweet. The American part gives the Irish some strength, but we lack the complexity for a higher rating.
