Instead of a visible metal face, you tile directly over a frameless stainless support plate the drain line completely disappears into the floor tile. Walk into the shower and you'll see a seamless expanse of tile interrupted by nothing. It's as close to invisible as a floor drain gets. This grate assembly installs onto a KERDI LINE channel body already set in the floor (sold separately).
