I left the house around 4:30 am and headed to the Burnidge Forest Preserve

I was fascinated watching a few common loons swim and then dive to try and catch fish to reenergize throughout the morning

I was looking for some good wildflower composition to photograph with the sunrise and came upon this scene of queen anne's lace and eastern daisy fleabane

I was thinking where I would photograph the sunrise and thought that the bridge over a frozen South Fork Kishwaukee River would be a good place to set up the tripod
