During the late afternoons a fellow photographer and I would head out near the ocean coast to an area where many eagles would rest

it has been a successful relationship

I returned to this location about eight months later and was pleasantly surprised to discover that beaver activity had created a new pond

Fearless and Free Nearly-Sold-Out This image represents an experienceNorthern Ontario I spent 5 days in northern Ontario photographing golden and bald eagles. As I watched the bald eagles it got me thinking about their success story here in North America. In the 1950's, the number of bald eagles in North America had dropped to 412 nesting pairs. After the banning DDT in the 1970's, their numbers began to rise and today there are as many as 120,000 of these birds. The title "Fearless and Free" speaks of the unique
