About the Artist: Cindy Lindgren drew from her own Minnesota Scandinavian influences for this illustration. She prefers the the cookies to lefse and swedish meatballs to lutefisk, but they all play a part in the Nordic experience. Her home studio is in the Twin Cities and she loves to travel the Midwest to find new inspiration.
