'Rainy Day Surprise' Light trails but does have a frontThis tiny Northern Saw whet Owl sitting in a Japanese Maple in suburban Avon was an amazing treat, today. As the owl flies, it was probably less than a mile from our house & the homeowner was extremely gracious. These owls are coming south in large numbers this year, which is usually sign of a banner nesting season further north. Keep your eyes peeled and, thanks to those who put the word out!
