With its origins in the countryside of Navarra, it comes over as fresh and flavoursome, evocative of green apples with slightly bitter notes, and of fine quality. This wine's leesy, lightly oxidized nose leaves an impression of oak, although none was used. Its powdery, yeasty melon flavors land softly on the rather lifeless finish.
