Victorian Sapphire Carved Half-Hoop Ring rose gold encouraging us to look inwardsAn exceptional Victorian carved half hoop ring, notable for both the collection of stones, and the quality of craftsmanship. Set with three deep blue sapphires and two pairs of bright old mine cut diamonds, the sides of the gallery are deeply engraved with swirling scroll motifs that go on to form the prongs securing the stones in place. Crafted in 18ct gold, it dates from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880. This style of ring has been
