トラッドはスウェーデン語で「木」という意味になり、1971年に起きた「ニレの木騒動」からインスピレー ションを受けデザインされた。この騒動は、都市開発に伴いストックホルムにある王立公園内に地下鉄の出入り口が作られることになったが、公園内のニレの木を守る為に1000人にも及ぶ反対活動家が押し寄せ、結果的に駅は数百メートル先に移動して作られることになった出来事。これらのニレの木は今も公園内に植わっており、生命力溢れるニレの木をダイナミックに描いたデザイン。
