They are not made by Bulgari but handmade in Italy in 1991 and made entirely of 18k gold (UK hallmarks). The Bulgari version is made of steel and gold. We love them because the craftsmanship is exceptional and it is a very comfortable and wearable piece. They also costs about 1 4 of the Bulgari version.
