One of the resident sandhill cranes flies over head while being illuminated by the spring morning sunlight at Wildflower Park

I didn't have to wait long before the colors of the sunrise were revealed

I was looking for some good wildflower composition to photograph with the sunrise and came upon this scene of queen anne's lace and eastern daisy fleabane

The downy can be distinguished from the hairy by its smaller size and by the black dots on its white tail feathers
