'Hector Falls, Allegheny National Forest' Vernal Falls I couldn't change lenses fastI've been jonesing to visit this unique waterfall since the first time I saw a crude photo a couple years ago. There's nothing terribly difficult about getting here except getting here! It's outside of Sheffield, PA off a forest service road within Pennsylvania's 500,000 acre Allegheny NF. The falls itself is in a gorgeous hemlock ravine, with blooming mountain laurel & mossy house sized boulders.
