It is made of steel, cnc (computer numerical control) cut, machine bent, welded and hand sanded. Like the VM 002 Mailbox, the post is available in 5 powder coat finishes. To make it nearly indestructible, it is extra heavy, has 2 layers of coating (a zinc and a finish coat), and was designed to be mounted onto a concrete surface. The VM 003
