These are the machined blocks that house the recoil springs and act as the sliding connecting point between the leg portion of the bipod and the entire barrel clamp and sight mechanism

The seersucker cover has a small area of blue staining and few minor pulls in the material

Its flexible but could use some care. I would not use this for much of anything beyond show. It has some sling swivel bits still attached, but not from an M1.
