Stelis rodrigoi (Big) Brasiliorchis 70–80% shade clothA large, well established division of this morphologically striking epiphyte from the cloud forests of South America, forming dense, multi stemmed clumps with broad, arching lanceolate leaves. The flowers are exceptionally complex for the genus: elongated, narrow sepals densely covered in short trichomes giving a velvety texture, with an erect dorsal sepal and downward curving lateral sepals framing a dark, contrasting lip and a visible yellow column.
