The complete shoulder strap set up does make this a bit more functional as you do not have to constantly hook and unhook it from your y straps. This seems to have been a reenactor used piece as there are a few decently well repaired holes. The leather has a few hard spots but is decent overall. This would be a great reenactment pack. You may have to replace the main straps eventually,
