there is a multitude of color within the water and rocks

and the dramatic cloud formation set a perfect mood

Whether I’m marveling at the complementary colors found in a coral reef or in the blooms of backyard summer flowers

Fall is one of my favorite seasons (just behind winter!) because of its bold color and crisp, clear skies to highlight the brilliant foliage. This painting is the initial study for a larger painting, Lost in the Moment.
