it is in relatively good overall condition with just a little wear and a spot of corrosion on the lid

WAC Purse with Replaced Catch communication although I am not sureOriginal WWII WAC (Women's Army Corps) leather purse with replaced catch. It has the shoulder strap. The handbag is in OK condition; still useable but with some issues. The snap ripped off and was replaced with a grommet and catch (this is not the first time I've seen this done as the snaps are a little fragile). Small nick tear on the bottom. The leather on one side of the strap has split (the strap is still useable as is, but it should be resewn).
