WWI U.S. Private Purchase Boots hygiene There are a few looseThese are WWI era US private purchase boots. I do not dabble too much with Great War stuff so I am not well versed in the equipment. The boots would be good for a mannequin. The leather is still pretty flexible. The newspapers that are stuffing the calves are newer. These measure 16 3 4" tall from bottom of heel to top. On sole from tip of toe to back of heel measures 11". Widest part of sole measures just under 4 inches. There is a stamped number "7"
