粉玫瑰莲的叶形以及底色都和澳洲常见的dondo一模一样。区别在于粉玫瑰莲的叶片很容易晒出粉边，叶子背面也会晒出一道粉棱，甚至所有的叶子背面都可以晒粉， 而常见的dondo玫瑰莲则一直都是绿色的（可以晒成果冻黄），不太会出粉色。
