This has a fragrant, quite floral bouquet with impressive transparency and detail, as iris and wilted rose petal infuse the red fruit. The palate is quite sweet on the entry and nicely poised, the fruit a little more confit compared to Clergets other Volnays, with a dab of allspice on the finish.
