It seems to have been slowly replaced by more modern bulky designs starting in the mid 1930's and isn't really seen much after the war. It has a center catch flanked but two bicycle tool box style loop closures. It is a simple and elegant design. The closures are marked D. R. P. It is in OK condition. The bottom has a small tear. The briefcase shows
