There are dark burgundy red stepped squares, Kikko (hexagon shaped tortoise shells, signifying longevity) and dark olive green in the design as well. Overall this silk reads as fairly dark, but there is a lot of contrast between all the colors, and to us it's quite dynamic. This silk ikat is thin and light. It has body, a very slight crispness, no slubs. Not rustic at all. The hand feel is
