This particular clock has 2 vertical string inlays, that are padauk and purpleheart from left to right. It also has two horizontal string inlays that are purpleheart and padauk from top to bottom. There is also an angled inlay on the right side that is also padauk. The pieces of the inlays were arranged so that it looks like the horizontal pieces weave over
