For that reason, I like having a mix of beater gloves for use in the field. Surplus Grau Feldgrau wool knit gloves. One size fits most. These look very good and are very similar to standard wehrmacht gloves, but lack sizing stripes inside. I handled garbage bags full of original gloves at one time and these are very close to some variations of original gloves I have encountered.
