Beirut is a city of urban chaos, in full reconstruction. I was charmed by the brutalist EDL building, the headquarters of the 'Lebanon Electricity' and the tiles with a trompe l'oeil cube pattern in perspective, says Gautier, who created a floor table lamp with CUBE where literally a corner is finished. The missing angle of the cube allows the light beam of the lamp to be directed
