WW2 British Mark 2 Brodie Combat Helmet - 1940 Dated Political Rally Badge on a fluted pinAn original 1940 dated steel Mark II combat helmet (also known as The Brodie or The Tommie helmet). Complete and untouched, with the black oilcloth liner (stamped G&S 1940 by Gimson & Slater), and cruciform rubber buffer system. The elasticized, sprung canvas strap is correct. The helmet shell is manufacturer stamped but it is not clear. The helmet shows honest wear with rust and liner aging, does not appear to be repainted. No visible shell
