It has a rose design in the leather on the front and flowers with an M on the back. This purse actually came from the estate of an army nurse (it was stored with her army nurse purse so it may have been something she picked up while in the service). There is a penny attached to the zipper, but I can't make out what the date is (looks like 1943 or 1913 to me maybe either the year she got it
