The box is a little beat up with the small side lid flaps fallen off (one is still present and one is missing)

The imitation leather straps are missing and there are some scrapes and general wear but overall the Bakelite is very stable and the hinge is in great condition and moves freely

and the use of white cloth inside rather than the usual green/tan cloth

It needs cleaned and the gasket should be replaced

V for Victory Wing Pin personal The box is a littleVintage 1940s WWII sweetheart winged V for Victory pin. It is marked Sterling on the back. The brooch shows some overall general wear and discoloration tarnishing. Still in fairly good, wearable condition.
