Mastering Academic Vocabulary (Gr. 3) Crafts The Let’s Get This DayIn order for students to acquire new knowledge and learning, they must be able to understand what they read, hear, and are asked to do in the classroom. This series provides definitions and practice opportunities for specific instructional verbs so students can comprehend and follow directions. Teachers are also given strategies for how to teach academic vocabulary. A glossary, which lists common academic vocabulary used in all subjects, is included.
