If birds are busting baitfish on the surface, this is a great lure to try and extract some bites from that bait ball

It is heavy( due to the metal construction), but for the price, it is a bargain

Overall I like the weight, feel and flex of the rod

I sometimes use an old white hand towel for laying the various parts on but for these photos, I didnt have it, so used my favourite fishing sweatshirt
