No sir I totally disagree my favorite flounder and redfish bait for that matter is a zman spinnerbait tipped with a paddletail grub I personally like gulp paddletails because of the smell but I do often use a 2.0 in the fred or gold digger but I usually Luke I charteuese tail and gold Colorado blade I use alot of scent and if not using a gulp then I use procure that has been mixed with Dr juice slam scent and also I tip all my jigs and spinnerbaits with a piece of fishbites in shrimp scent we here in northeast fl mostly fish in murky muddy water where as you guys in central or south fl fish mostly clear well I have found jerkshads only seem to work well here in early spring or winter when the water is more clearer thats probably why they work so well in your area because of the action they are more of a sight bait as to the spinnerbait yes they do give off alot of flash but I believe in our murky water the vibration is what really attracts them a spinnerbait because of the flash and vibration probably would not work so well in your area it would probably spook the fish more then attract them so you see thats why alot of times when you guys say its the best this or that that I usually disagree different water clarity and conditions require different baits and tactics to better catch them your lures do work but not all the time are they as good as what I have found in my 20 plus years of fishing inshore saltwater I use and you know buy your lures often but your lures are not the only ones I use in fact for spinnerbaits I remember when saltstrong had a podcast with a certain capt that does charters out of south Carolina that specifically fishes with spinnerbaits and I knowing how south Carolinas waters are murky in the summer like ours is here in northeast fl know that he knows what he is talking about heck ask Matt Lanier one of your coaches he will tell you how food they are im just saying what works for some in some areas doesnt mean it will work that great in other areas because I know from like I said 20plus years of fishing the inshore saltwater thanks for the info and all you do Awesome feedback and input, Steven
